Q: What if I have less than 10 children coming to the party?
A: Our party packages are for a minimum of 10 children. If you have less than 10 children you will still receive 10 PowerCards. You may use the cards on the day of your party or bring them back to PowerPlay another day, as they do not expire. Sorry, there are no discounts for having less than 10 with your party.
Q: What if I have more than 10 children coming to the party?
A: Each party package has a price for additional children:
Deluxe Package ($189.50) – $18.95 per additional child
Ultimate Package ($269.50) - $26.95 per additional child
Big Kahuna Package ($499.50) - $49.95 per additional child
Q: Is the birthday child included in the 10 children?
A: Yes, the package does include the birthday child. (birthday child + 9 children)
Q: I have more than one birthday child, do I get a PowerPlay Cinche Bag for each child?
A: Our packages come with one PowerPlay Cinche Bag. You may purchase additional bags for $10.00 each.
Q: If I reserve a Birthday Party Package can I bring my own cake and ice cream?
A: Yes, when you reserve a party package you are welcome to bring your own cake and/or ice cream. If you choose to bring your own cake and/or ice cream we will provide your party with 4 large pizzas. If you choose our ice cream cake your party will receive 2 large pizzas.
Our ice cream cake is 3 layers: chocolate cake, white cake and vanilla ice cream in the middle, topped with vanilla frosting. The cake will be personalized with the birthday child's name. This cake serves approximately 12-15 guests. You may upgrade to a larger cake that will serve up to 25 guests for an additional $10.00.
Q: What decorations am I allowed to bring?
A: We welcome any decoration item that is not taped or adhered to the walls of the party room. We do not allow confetti or silly string.
Let us do the work for you! Add a bouquet of 10 latex balloons for just $10.00! (Yes, you are welcome to bring your own balloons.)
Q: What if we are late to our party?
A: Your party room is booked for one hour. Unfortunately, we are not able to guarante an extension to your room time. We encourage guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your room time to ensure that you will enjoy the full hour you have reserved.
Q: The party packages come with “attractions”; what are “attractions?”
A: Our “Attractions” include the following: One game of Bowling w/ shoe rental, One ride on the Go-Karts, one turn on the Ropes Course, One game of Laser Tag, One ride on the Bumper Cars, One ride on the Carnival Swing, One ride on the Rascal Rocket, one ride on the Tilt-A-Whirl, or One entry into our soft play Kids Zone.
Q. The party packages come with "PowerPoints"; what are "PowerPoints?"
A. One "PowerPoint" is equal to $0.25 - PowerPoints are used on any arcade or redemption game.
Q. How much does it cost to enter PowerPlay?
A. There is no entry fee. Please purchase a PowerCard for $1.00 and place the money that you would like to spend on that card. All games and attractions vary in amount. Simply add the amount for the games and attractions you would like to play. PowerCards are rechargable so you can always add more money to your card as you go....we call it "Pay as you play!" We can not refund money once it is placed on the card. PowerCards do not expire.
Q. What are the prices for the Incredible Buffet?
A. Monday-Thursday: Adults $6.07 + tax, Children 4-12 yrs. old $4.96 + tax, Children 3 yrs. and under are FREE with each Adult Buffet purchase
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: Adults $6.96 + tax, Children 4-12 yrs. old $4.96 + tax, Children 3 yrs. and under are FREE with each Adult Buffet purchase
Q: How do PowerCards and PowerPoints work?
A: One PowerPoint is equivalent to 25 cents. You simply purchase a PowerCard for $1.00 and put any amount of money that you would like on the card. (Just add up the cost of the games and attractions you want to play to get a total you should place on the card.) You then use the PowerCard around the facility to play the games and ride attractions. Your PowerPoints never expire and you are always welcome to bring your card back to use another day.
If you already have a PowerCard you simply bring that card with you and add money to it. Cards are always rechargeable.
PowerCards are non-refundable. This means once you place money on your card, we are unable to refund the dollar amount in cash. If your card is lost we are able to replace the card if you can provide the 6 digit number on the back. We will only replace the amount that was left on the card at the time it was lost.
Q. How do I check the balance of my PowerCard?
A. Please bring your PowerCard in to a cashier. They will swipe the card and tell you the balace of the card. (We are unable to give PowerCard balances over the phone.)
Q: I have a group of 20 or more, are there packages available for my group?
A: Yes, we do offer packages for large groups and do require reservations. Please call our Event Coordinator at 913-268-7200.
Q: Do I need to make reservations for bowling?
A: No, reservations are not required to bowl. Games can be played during regular business hours on a first come, first served basis.

Q: Can I bring in my own cake and/or ice cream if I am not reserving a birthday party package?
A: Sorry, we do not allow outside cake and/or ice cream into the buffet area or any other tabled area at PowerPlay.
You are welcome to rent a party room on a first come, first served basis. Our party rooms are $25.00/hr. for a room with 2 tables (seats 20) or $35.00/hr. for a room with 4 tables (seats up to 40) Cake and presents are allowed into the party room. There will be no hostess in the party room. Please provide your own table settings. No other outside food or beverage are allowed into the party room.
Please note that party rooms are reserved for party packages first and are open to rentals if rooms are remaining. We can not guarantee that a room will be open when you come in to rent one. We will rent a party room to you as soon as one is available.

Take I-435 SOUTH to the Shawnee Mission Parkway EAST exit. Go to your first stop light (about 2 miles down) which is Pflumm. Turn left on Pflumm and take your immediate right onto the shopping center. We are at the far end of the shopping center.
